Indian Head Massage

Coming soon from my treatment room in Hook, Hampshire...and also available for Corporate Wellbeing days and events.

Indian Head Massage has been practised in countries such as India for over 1000 years and this treatment combines both Western and Eastern techniques. It’s a wonderfully relaxing, non-invasive treatment by way of massaging the face, scalp, upper arms, neck, back and shoulders.

The physical and mental stress of everyday life can cause weaknesses in the nerves and impair circulation; resulting in tension, disease, depression and headaches. Indian Head Massage is effective in relieving many symptoms, such as:

· Headaches

· Temporomandibular joint syndrome

· Facial palsy

· Sinusitis

· Facial spasm

· Depression

· Insomnia

· Anxiety attacks

· Migraines

· Tinnitus

· Dizziness

· Eye strain

· Hypertension

· Carpal tunnel syndrome due to referred pain

· Frozen shoulder

· Neck and upper back pain

Along with other natural, holistic therapies, such as Reflexology and Reiki, these symptoms can be relieved with Indian Head, Neck and Back Massage. Stimulating and increasing scalp circulation, along with other specialised techniques, is an effective and safe way of helping tone muscles, relieve eyestrain and headaches, improve concentration and boost the immune system. It can also help to eliminate muscular and jaw tension and restore joint movement by stretching and mobilising the tissues of the neck and shoulders.

I am based in Hook, Hampshire and have a beautiful, tranquil therapy room where all my treatments take place.

For corporate wellbeing days and events, I am able to recreate a similar atmosphere in an office or at an event, in order to promote wellbeing in the workplace.
