What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a one to one touch therapy, that promotes wellbeing and deep relaxation. Used by anyone of any age, the non-invasive therapy aids the body in restoring balance. Working on an individual basis, Reflexology is used as either an ad-hoc treatment or used safely alongside standard healthcare. A Reflexologist can tailor a treatment plan to suit your needs based on physical and non-physical factors.

The theory of Reflexology is that the body is mirrored in a person’s foot. A Reflexologist works each area and pressure point of the foot with their fingers, aiming to bring those areas back to balance in a natural way.

Benefits of Reflexology, based on scientific studies, support the potential positive effects that

can be achieved by touch, such as:

  • Improved mood

  • Improved well-being

  • Reduction of stress and anxiety

  • Improved sleep patterns

  • Increased energy levels

  • Improved blood circulation

  • Aid’s in pain relief

Reflexology can assist in many ways that you may not realise, so it’s always worth talking to a qualified Reflexologist to discuss treatment options.

Reflexology promotes balance and wellbeing both physically and mentally and can also aid with:

  • Hormonal issues

  • Digestive problems

  • Circulation

  • High blood pressure

  • Supporting pregnancy

  • Fertility problems

  • Headaches & migraine

  • …and many other ailments
